Sport
In Spoleto it is possible to practice many sports such as biking, trekking, hang gliding, rafting, hiking, padel, tennis, baseball, bowling, bowls, horse riding, skeet shooting, archery and even swimming (the municipal swimming pool of Spoleto is equipped with of winter and summer swimming pools; indoors one of 25 meters and one for children with shallow water, two outdoor pools, one of 50 meters and one for children with shallow water with water games).
Food and wine
Spoleto is a land of great flavours, from the Colli Assisi-Spoleto DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil (the Spoleto-Assisi olive grove is part of the Agricultural Heritage Systems of global importance of the FAO and a candidate to become a UNESCO world heritage site), to the wine (Trebbiano Spoletino and a few kilometers away, Sagrantino di Montefalco), saffron, the prized black truffle of Norcia and Spoleto (Tuber Melanosporum Vittadini), asparagus, honey, “simple” bread (i.e. without salt in the dough ), legumes (spelt, roveja, lentils), cheeses and cured meats.
The restaurants surrounding the apartment offer excellent local cuisine, such as strangozzi alla spoletina or with truffle, spelled soup, scrambled with truffle and crescenda, enhancing the flavors of our traditional cuisine.
